For Santa Anita horse racing, visit Santa Anita Park which is open from December 26th and through to April. This park holds a great deal of history and opened on Christmas Day in 1934. There's plenty to do apart from bet, you can admire the spacious and beautiful gardens, enjoy a meal in the picnic area, or dine in one of the fine restaurants. The children won't get bored either, there is a playground just for them, with slides, swings and much more.
 

Santa Anita Horse Racing

Covering approximately 320 acres, Santa Anita Park has something for everyone. The landmark 1,100 foot long Grandstand can seat 26,000 guests and there is also a giant infield area which can seat thousands more.

Live racing takes place on Wednedays to Sundays, and also on holiday Mondays. On weekdays, the gates are open from 11:00am and the first race post time is 1:00pm. On holidays and weekends, the gates are open from 10:30am and the post time for the first race is 12:30pm.
