Laurel Horse Racing Laurel Park is open for
Summer between July and August, with live racing Wednesday to Sunday. It
opens again for Fall in October and runs through to the end of December,
with live racing Tuesday to Saturday, plus Sunday 21st December.
The gates open at 11:30am. Simulcasting is broadcast
daily except on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On Sundays to Tuesdays,
races are broadcast from 12:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Wednesdays to
Saturdays, races are broadcast from 12:00pm until 12:00am.
Admission to Laurel Park is $3.00 for both Grandstand
and Clubhouse admission, there is no charge for nights or simulcasting.
Seating is free during the week, there are some exception, please visit the
website for further details. At the weekends and holidays, box seats (for
four people) for Grandstand and Clubhouse are charged at $2.50 per seat.
There are nearly 3,000 general parking spaces, 300
preferred spaces and 180 valet spaces. General car parking is free,
preferred is charged at $2.00 and valet is $5.00. Park and Lock is charged
at $5.00 for daytime, and is free at night. For simulcasting, all parking is
free except for Park and Lock, which is $2.00; there is no valet available
for simulcasting.
Catering is provided by Maryland Turf Caterers, Inc. The Carriage room at
Laurel Park can accommodate 700 guests. There is also an outdoor paddock
which can hold 300-500 people, if you would prefer a picnic.
