Gulfstream Park Horse Racing
The first
racing season held at Gulfstream Park was in 1939 and pulled in a crowd of
18,000. In 1952, the Florida Derby was launched and a clubhouse was built.
The turf course was uncovered in 1959.
General admission to Gulfstream is as follows:
Grandstand admission is $3 and $5 on weekends, Clubhouse admission is $5,
Turf Club admission is $15 (dress code applies). On days when only simulcast
races are broadcast, admission is free. Children aged 17 and under are
admitted free.
There are over 15,000 car parking spaces provided and
valet parking is also available. You can dine whilst at the track in one of
the many restaurants. There is something for everyone with the Turf Club,
Rooftop Bar & Grille, Little Italy, Carvery and more.
It is also possible to gain membership to the Turf
Club. This will allow you to enjoy various benefits, including daily
admission, daily valet parking to the front door, access to the Turf Club
Dining Room and more. Please note that there is a dress code for the Turf
Club, this includes children.
